with this collection, i wanted to explore exactly how death is viewed and where it is placed within specifically western society. i pulled a lot of influences from the book, "Confessions of a Funeral Director" by Caleb Wilde. in the collection i convey themes of the hierarchy of value, how life requires death, and how life can be represented with biological patterns.
